Helpful Hints for Volkswagen and Audi
All our services are backed by a 24-month or 24,000 miles warranty!*
Oil and Filter Services: Offering full synthetic oil and factory filter services as required for your vehicle. No appointments necessary. Though most manufacturers' use long life oil with 10-15,000 maintenance intervals, as your cars ages such a long stretch could be damaging since there is such a great amount of time between servicing and minor things that aren't caught right away can lead to costly major repairs if left unchecked for 15,000 miles.
OEM Parts: Only Dealer or Factory OEM components are used on your VW or Audi repairs, no white box, generic specials.
Heating & Cooling System: Inspection and repair or replacement of A/C compressor, dryer, condenser, heater cores, heater valves and hoses using state of the art A/C equipment.
Engine Diagnostics, including "Check Engine" lights: A check engine light and/or emissions problems can affect gas mileage. We use state of the art, factory computer diagnostic tools. Check Engine lights should not be ignored; it's your vehicle's way of telling you there is a problem. If left unchecked, this could lead to costly and unnecessary vehicle repairs. Why be left stranded, get the light checked out!
Electrical Trouble-shooting: Diagnosis and repair of all electrical systems including starting, charging, lighting and all other accessories.
Brakes: From OEM pads and rotors to performance upgrades, we offer complete brake inspection, service and repairs in the Antilock Braking System. Brake fluid acts like a sponge, it absorbs moisture from the air that can wreak havoc on today's modern ABS systems. Regardless of use, have your brake fluid flushed every two years.
Suspensions: Installation of new shocks or struts, replacement of ball joints, control arm bushings and/or suspension arms. Replacement of wheel bearings, C.V. axles and joints. Though often overlooked, all manufacturers recommend replacing shocks/struts at 70,000—80,000 miles. As your vehicle ages, drivers tend to get accustomed to sloppy handling. Having your suspension inspected can save you money at the gas pump and unnecessary tire wear, not to mention it is a safety concern.
Transmissions: Automatic and manual transmission service or replacement. All Volkswagens / Audis have sealed, non-serviceable transmission fluid. Special tools and computers are required to change or top-off fluids. Just "guessing" can lead to thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. Whether it's a Quattro, CVT, DSG, Tip-tronic, or manual transmission, we have the tools and experience to service your vehicle correctly the first time.
Clutches: Replacement of factory or high performance clutch assemblies
Timing Belt Replacement: Preventative and routine maintenance to preserve the life of your vehicle's engine. Have your vehicle's timing belt inspected today! Though most manufacturers recommend 105,000 mile maintenance intervals, it's generally not the belts that fail, but the water pumps or hydraulic belt tensioners that fail. If your belt fails, in most cases, the damage can range from $1,500 to $6,000. Multi-valve engines have zero room for error. We recommend changing timing belts between 75,000 to 85,000 miles, depending on application.
Mufflers and Exhaust: Replacement of catalytic converters, o2 sensors, pipes, and mufflers
Engine Replacements: Install new, remanufactured or low mile salvage engines
Turbo Replacement & Upgrades: Replacement of factory or high performance turbos. Stay away from eBay specials, they usually are cheaply reconditioned units, factory blems, or imported replicas or painted units that can lead to catastrophic failure within days or weeks—we've seen it all too often.
High Performance Upgrades: We are an authorized distributor for Revo Technik performance software, Neuspeed, Autotech Sport Tuning, Eurosport Accessories, Tirerack, Wavetrac Differentials, and many others. (We're tuner friendly!)
Pre-purchase Inspection: We can perform a bumper to bumper visual inspection as well as a computer scan on any Volkswagen or Audi you consider purchasing. Bringing it in to us beforehand could save you hundreds of dollars down the road.
Extended warranty repairs: We work with most extended warranty companies to ensure eligible repairs are covered by your warranty
